Most people enjoy the flowers of lilac bushes and crabapple trees in spring. These flowers are big, colorful, and fragrant. But have you ever seen the blooming catkins of a walnut tree or the dainty, green flowers of a maple tree? All of our deciduous trees have flowers. Some are tiny. Most are green. Many do not last very long. You will have to look up! You might have to climb a tree or a ladder! How many can you find this spring?
